What educators are saying

I loved the self-checking feature of this activity. It was so helpful for students to practice in a low-stakes way.
This is a great resource! It helped my students to practice and get a better understanding of the skills we've been working on.

Description

This Google Slides Resource works well for Distance Learning. Students will use a decimal place value chart to create numbers. Go beyond decimal place value worksheets with this digital resource in Google Slides. Students will type standard and expanded form given a decimal word form, and will practice other combinations.

You will download a pdf with a link to this digital Google Slides resource. You'll be prompted to make a copy which will save to your drive.

Here is a breakdown of the Decimal Place Value activity:

•Slides 13-18: Fill in the Missing Forms One of the three forms will be provided. Students will type the two missing forms.

• Slides 19-20: Early Finisher Links to online games that will provide practice are provided on the last slide for early finishers.

I like to start by doing this whole class PowerPoint lesson introducing decimal place value. This Google resource was created to give students independent practice.

If your students need more practice reading decimals correctly, this whole class PowerPoint will help.
