What educators are saying

I used this as a quick formative grade to see how much my students learned during our Weather vs Climate notes. The scenarios were a perfect way to test their knowledge as well as make them slow down and think about what is being said!
My students love using your resource. It is very helpful to see where they are at and what they don't understand.

Description

This simple sorting activity can be used over and over again to help students distinguish climate from weather. It was originally designed to meet Texas 5th grade Science TEKS, but would be a great review activity for Texas 8th grader science students during their weather unit.

I had my kids glue the board in their Science notebooks and save the sort sentences in a pocket or envelop glued to the next page. When it was time to review, they just opened their notebooks to the page and we had a sorting race!

If your classroom isn't using notebooks or binders, create a class set printed on card stock with the sort pieces in baggies. (Hint: Use different colored card stock for each set to keep things from getting mixed up!)
