At first I was worried that this was too young for my 4th graders, but I was desperate for something to help during transitions. It was a HIT! They love it and the minute they hear the first note they immediately begin doing what they are supposed to. I love it!
I've used music transitions for years but it was nice to have them all in one spot and great selection.
Description
I developed this collection of songs to help my students transition in the classroom throughout the day. I chose a variety of old tv theme songs of varying lengths. When I click a song, students know immediately where they are supposed to go or what they are supposed to do by the end of the song. For example, when they hear the Andy Griffith theme song, students know to immediately line up silently and be ready by the time the song is over. It works perfectly and the kids love it! I also have a second page of other old tv songs that I use from time to time in the classroom but not for set transitions.
I have given each song a title, but these can easily be changed by editing the text box.
File was created on PowerPoint 2007 and may not work on older versions.
