Calculus Vase PROJECT
What educators are saying
Description
Looking for an Integration Project for your Calculus class? This Vase Project (with an editable rubric) is the perfect fit for you. Students work with a partner to use an integral to calculate the volume of a vase.
Students will work in groups to record the dimensions of a vase as ordered pairs, use regression to find the curve of best fit, use calculus to approximate the volume of the vase, measure the actual volume of the vase, calculate the percent error, and write a report with their findings
Students should be able to find a volume of a solid of revolution.
