CVC Rhyming Words PowerPoint Game

Your students will love this interactive CVC rhyming words game; it's bright, engaging, self-correcting, and it promotes active learning. This activity is perfect for kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, or ESL students. Use it as a whole class phonological awareness activity (add whiteboards for whole class participation), or for independent practice during literacy centers. This is a fun and easy way to explore rhyming words and CVC word families.

This pack contains two versions:
- Version one has words and pictures (perfect to start with).
- Version two only has pictures.

Each PowerPoint contains 40 game slides. Please open the file in slide show mode for the animation and sound effects to work.

Directions:
Click on a card that rhymes with the picture at the top.
If you're correct, you'll hear a magic chime sound and stars will appear around your answer.
If you're incorrect, you'll hear a buzzing sound and the incorrect answer will disappear. You’ll get another chance to choose the correct answer.
