Branches of Government Grade 4 PPT (with Justin Bieber "Government" song)

This is a PowerPoint that includes the standards for comparing/contrasting the branches of the government, as well as how they are equal.

The following standards are covered in the PowerPoint:
4-4.2 Explain the structure and function of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the federal government.

In this presentation, students learn one branch a day for three days. At the end of each lesson, students learn a verse of Justin Bieber's, "Baby," now called "Government." I rewrote these lyrics to help my fourth grade students learn the differences, and they absolutely loved it. We came up with motions and continued the song throughout the unit.
