What educators are saying

I love this BTS bundle. It has been so helpful with prep and my littles are always so engaged and excited for more!
I teach a multiple-grade level self-contained SPED classroom - since my students are with me for at least 3 years, I am not able to use the same resources year after year. This has been so helpful and my kiddos love it!

    Description

Here is an ALL IN ONE Back to School Bundle if you are teaching Kindergarten! (this can also be used with TK, Pre-K, or the beginning of 1st Grade). To start the school year there are a handful of resources you NEED to make your year run smoothly, and to hit the ground running with intentional academics.

Look and see what's included for you to set up your kindergarten classroom:

⭐️Student Portfolio: This kindergarten portfolio resource is for you to track your students’ writing progress all year long! Each month there are 21 different printables for you to pick from. Those 21 printables repeat each month, so you can showcase and visually see their growth over time. Each skill has the option to trace or write so you can switch out the printables as the students are improving in each area.

This student portfolio is perfect to save as a portfolio at the end of the year, use during conferences, and to use as an assessment for report cards. Each month, the students will either trace or independently write letters, numbers, shapes, their name + self portrait, and a sentence.

You can pick and choose from the 21 printables each month, to meet your individual student’s needs. For set up you can bind the sheets, staple together, attach with binder rings, or put in a folder.

⭐️Pigeon craft and activities to accompany any Pigeon book: This Pigeon Book Buddy resource has minimal prep and will give your students extra practice with the alphabet, numbers, and sounds, and more! There are 7 Pigeon themed activities included so you could use these for your weekly center rotation or just pick and choose which activities you want to use during the week! Each activity has a colored version, black and white version, as well as a printable version. I included a PowerPoint and Google Slide version of cards for 5 of the activities (not worksheets). So if you are teaching remotely, or in the classroom, you can show a card on the screen and have the students complete the worksheet at their desk or at home.

Here are the activities that are included:

    1. Pigeon craft and writing

    2. Color practice- The students cut and paste the pigeon craft and can complete one of the writing prompts.

Center activity: the students pick a card (or you show the digital form of the card) and they color a pigeon to match.

Printable: the students color and read the color flip book

    3. Uppercase activity-

Center activity: the students pick a card (or you show the digital form of the card) and they write the letter

Printable: they cut and paste the matching letter

    4. Lowercase activity-

Center activity: the students pick a card (or you show the digital form of the card) and they write the letter

Printable: they cut and paste the matching letter

    5. Number Tracing-

Center Activity: the students pick a card (or you show the digital form of the card) and trace the number, or they place manipulative on the card to build the number

Printable: the students trace the number

    6. Beginning sounds-

Center activity: the students pick a card (or you show the digital form of the card) and they color the matching letter

Printable: the students cut and paste the beginning sound picture to the letter

    7. Number order-

Center activity: the students order the puzzle (numbers 1-8)

Printable: the students cut and paste the puzzle (numbers 1-8)

⭐️Back to School Pencil Bulletin Board: This bulletin board is perfect for back to school! Here are the phrases included:

    -One sharp bunch!

    -Our class is sharp!

    -Our work is on point!

-Welcome to Kindergarten (as included are grades preschool-12)

There is also a pencil writing flip craft. You print the pencil image and the students can write a response on the lined paper. They glue the pencil to the top of the writing and you hang it on your bulletin board!

    ⭐️Back to School Morning Work:

There are 26 ELA and 26 Math pages (52 pages total). You can copy the pages front to back, or alternate if you want one warm-up page per day. Each week starts out with 6 different skills and repeats, with the hopes of the students learning how to complete the worksheet independently after you have taught the class how to complete it.

    This month focuses on:

    1. Tracing lines

    2. Uppercase tracing practice

    3. Uppercase letter identification

    4. Colors

All of the assessments can be given with EASE and little prep! Several of the assessments can be given one-on-one or in a test format that you can give whole group. I also included a “Kindergarten Assessment” sheet that you can keep record of each student’s scores in one place!
