Description

This is a revised and updated ELA CCSS Aligned Thematic Unit about Animals in Winter. Students will learn about animals that hibernate, migrate, and adapt through a variety of reading and writing activities. There are 3 different leveled Guiding Reading Books, Comprehension Activities, and Writing Activities to meet the needs of all the students in your classroom. Literacy Activities include Capitalization and Punctuation, Initial Sounds, and Short and Long Vowel Sound Activities. Lesson plans are included for each activity. CCSS are included in the first few pages. (B/W copies included)
