-A large, crisp, clear picture with the beginning sound.

-Note about clipart: There is a clipart key on each page. The word is printed on the bottom corner of the page, upside-down, to not detract from the text on the page. The clipart key is there so that any adult helping the student read the book will know what word the image represents.

-The uppercase and lowercase letter with a light gray tracking dot underneath, repeated twice.

-The clipart seen above repeated in the “sentence” with a light gray tracking dot underneath.
