Description
If you have purchased my ASL to Written English Color Code Bundles, I am sure you have noticed the (+S indexing) and (+O indexing) sign on the task page and you may have caught yourself wondering what that means.
You are in luck, this reference will help you understand and how to use the (+S indexing) and (+O indexing) appropriate in a sentence using sign language and then transfer it to written English. (Article and Pronouns are the one that shows which sign to use appropriately for the indexing aspect.)
I included the Verbs that shows action, helping and linking. This also use some of the indexing when appropriate while using the sign and transfer to written English. This will help student see the different and see examples with signs in it to visualize the different.
Adjectives have some examples to show how to describe a noun with 6 different categories- colors, numbers, sizes, weathers, feelings, and tastes. This is one of the many examples of adjectives that students can visualize the different and how to use it in a sentence.
Nouns- one page that shows different signs that fit each categories of person, place, things, and animals. Examples of common nouns and proper nouns are also provided to show the nouns does have specific names for it.
Wh’ questions- (The color code for this does not match the bundles that is in my store but I wanted to show the students that there is different types of WH’ questions). This will help student visualize different examples of how to express the ideas of what, when, where, who, and why… and how it fitinwrittenEnglish.
I hope you find this reference booklet helpful!!
