ASL Summer Puzzles
Print and laminate cards
Cut cards apart and allow students to match.
This activity can be done whole group or independently.
ASL Summer Vocabulary Multiple choice cards
Print and laminate the colored sheets and cut into individual task cards. Cards are provided in both sign and picture only formats. Students will look at the picture and use a dry erase marker or clip to indicate the correct answer.
For additional support, be sure your students have visual access to the Vocabulary Master Lists.
ASL Summer Spelling cards
Print and laminate the colored sheets. This could be used at a center
or as independent work. Students will use a dry erase marker to spell and write the words correctly in the box. You can choose to keep these together on the whole page or cut them apart and put them individually on a ring.
POCKET CHART CHALLENGE- Cut the pages so the pictures and the spelling pages are separate. Give students the writing portion of the card. Put a picture in the pocket chart and have students
choose the correct spelling pattern to match.
BLACK AND WHITE practice sheets are also provided.
ASL Summer Vocabulary practice
Each vocabulary word has a full black and white page. Students are able to color and trace the word. (some words are combined onto one page)
There is also a cover provided if you would like to make a vocabulary book for each student in your class.
ASL Summer Writing Pages
I included a blank writing page for students who are able to write more and you can copy as many pages as you’d like to supplement the vocabulary pages.
In addition, there are 2 additional choices. (4 pages of each)
Brainstorm cut and paste.
These pages will help your students focus on vocabulary directed at a specific topic.
List building pages.
Students can use the vocabulary from the brainstorm pages to build a list. They could stop here or continue to write a story on the writing pages.
