AP Statistics: A Survival Guide
- Word Document File
Description
Does AP Stats seem overwhelming? Can't keep track of the many concepts, vocab words, and equations? Don't know how to stay organized and keep everything in one place? Don't know how to study for the AP Exam? This Survival Guide can do all of that, and more!
The AP Stats Survival Guide is designed to give you a 'brief' summary of each unit with essential vocabulary, equations and concepts explained. Within each unit or section of the Survival Guide, I lay out all the relevant concepts, equations and vocabulary that you will need, and then give a sample FRQ or two. At the end of all the units, there is a 40-question Mock Multiple Choice Test. A key for all FRQ's and the multiple choice is provided.
The Units:
- Graphical Displays
- Means and Variance (including the introduction of the normal distribution)
- Probability (not discrete or normal yet)
- Linear Regression
- Design and Simulation
- Discrete Distributions
- Continuous Distributions
- Confidence Intervals with Proportions
- Hypothesis Testing with Proportions, Power and Error
- Confidence Intervals and Tests with Two Proportions/Treatments
- Confidence Intervals and Hypothesis Testing with a Mean
- Confidence Intervals and Tests with Two Means/Treatments
- Chi Square
- Linear Regression Analysis
After each unit, there are several blank pages for you to take notes, add more examples or whatever helps you understand the information. This book IS NOT designed to be a stand alone study guide. There are too many types of problems, different ways concepts can be combined and tested, and much more detail about HOW to write your answers on the FRQ portion of the AP exam than I could possibly fit into one book! I hope you find this useful!
