Description

These slides are a catch-all for the evolution of the constitution. They cover all 27 amendments including the bill of rights, the reconstruction amendments, the progressive amendments. They also describe the process of making an amendment, common amendment themes, ratification dates for all 27, and some ideas that have been kicked around for amendment 28 (after a 3+ decade amendment drought).

It also includes a color-coded worksheet for students to complete follow-along notes on the 27 amendment (establishing the Bill of Rights, the reconstruction amendments, and the progressive amendments as important groupings). Google Classroom Compatible.

Enjoy! And, as always, feel free to send me any feedback or suggestions you have on improving the product.
